Historical Background: Nutrition Hygiene Department as an independent was founded in 1969. Later the Department was merged with course of radiation hygiene and it was called Nutrition Hygiene Department with the course of radiation hygiene. In this structure the Department existed until 1992. In 1992 the course of radiation hygiene was attached to the Medical Radiology Department and the course of hygiene of children and adolescents (HCA) was attached to the Nutrition Hygiene Department. In this structure the Department exist to present.
